Dr. Norman is a native Indiana Hoosier born and raised in Anderson, Indiana.   Dr. Norman went to school at Indiana University School of Optometry and has been practicing Optometry in Cape Girardeau for 17 years.  His wife Laura grew up in Cape and they met in college.  Both Laura and Dr. Norman have family in Cape and Southeast Missouri.  Dr. Norman’s dad grew up in Bloomfield and his uncle lives in Jackson.   Dr. Norman has relatives in Bloomfield, Cape, Puxico, Jackson, St. Louis, High Ridge and Lake of the Ozarks.  Laura homeschools their 5 kids, the oldest is 16 and the youngest is 8.  They go to church at Bethany Baptist where he serves as a deacon and sings in the choir.  They enjoy mission trips, camping, hiking, swimming and going to grandpa and grandma’s house in Florida or Tennessee.  Dr. Norman plays racquetball and the table game backgammon.

Dr. Norman is national board certified and therapeutically licensed.
